The blade is made out of 1095 carbon steel it has a etched and polished finish which reveals the hamon in the steel. This knife has a hidden tang construction secure by a steel pin. The guard is made out of mild steel. The handle is stabilized amboyna burl and canvas micarta spacer. It comes with a handmade leather sheath.
